Dr. James Main

Principal Dentist

James has been looking after people’s teeth in Central Somerset since 2002, he has had decades of experience in improving the quality of life of his patients through using the latest dental techniques from white fillings, crowns and veneers through to teeth whitening, dental implants and Invisalign clear aligners. He has been helping to restore confidence and comfort for hundreds of people with missing teeth or loose dentures for more than 30 years and has placed over 1,000 teeth implants.

He has been a regular finalist in various National Dental Awards in 2004. 2010, 2015 and 2020.

James is the only Somerset dentist to offer a unique four-year written guarantee on all recommended treatments, which has been available to his patients for over 20 years.

Erin Palmer

Dental Nurse
Apprentice

Erin decided when working in the retail industry that her calling was to join the dental industry and decided to start her training to become a dental nurse. Erin joined TRUSTDental in April 2025 and has said that since joining the practice, her confidence has grown hugely, and she has learned so many skills.

Outside of the practice, Erin has written a list of exciting things to try in the upcoming year and would love to go travelling more. She also enjoys spending time with her partner, her friends and watching Netflix series!

Finley Williams

Reception Manager

Finley joined TRUSTDental in March 2026 as Reception Manager, bringing with him a varied background in customer service and management. Before joining the practice, Finley worked in accounts and was also a Store Manager at a chocolate shop, where he gained plenty of experience working with people and managing a busy environment.

Outside of the practice, Finley enjoys gaming in his free time, relaxing with a good game and looking after his tortoise, Tank!
